About the Fashions:
Portmanteau Fashions is the culmination of half a
lifetime's research. Since I was little I've loved historical fashion,
and have collected a library of books on it, not to mention a modest
collection of actual antique garments to study, ranging from the 1770s
through the 1930s.
Every outfit at PF is carefully researched and made.
Inspiration comes from many sources: existing garments, fashion plates,
art, and more. I have very exacting standards for everything I produce,
and as such, no detail is insignificant. Many hours go into each
creation, resulting in truly one of a kind pieces.
Outfits and their foundation, or under, garments are
sold separately here at PF, but I will on occasion auction off special
fullsets which will include everything needed for the outfit: garments,
foundations and accessories. About
the Models:
Because of the highly fitted nature of these fashions, I
will not make clothes for a doll I do not own. This is most especially
true of women's fashions. For ladies' fashions,
my 60cm+ models are: Emilia, a DOD Shall; Phoebe, a Volks SD16 girl; Lanie, a Volks SD10 2 part
body; and Cecilia, a CP small bust Miyu. For 43cm ladies models, I have Reina, a
Unoa Quluts 1.5 Lusis. For gentlemen's fashions,
my 60cm+ models are: Callum, a Dollshe Hound; Tsukasa, a DOD Lahoo;
Sydney, a Luts Senior Delf Ethan;
Blake and Bowen, CP Harangs; and Nicole, a CP Juri '06/Soom boy hybrid.
My 43cm models are Toyah and Koyah, Unoa Quluts 1.5 L-bis. For children's fashions,
I will use my 43cm models, as well as my 27cm models: Dane, a Volks SwD
Piccolo; Demi, a Volks SwD Anne; and Rhoslyn, a BC Cookie. |
